Laying responsiveless
under shallow glimmers—
numb and pale digits

like a fish’s shimmer
corpselike (𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘷é𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢),
ceaseless.

Resting in slow motion,
a watery catatonia,
floating nowhere.

☼ godrays splining through trees
these lukewarm, saturated hands
floating above the silt—
my pining flesh
absorbing the warmth.

░░ movements against my leg…
rewinding me
through unending thoughtloops,
and sending
tessellations
through the surfacelights
